River Gambia Expeditions
The River Gambia is considered to be the most navigable river in West Africa. Originating from the Fouta Djallon highlands in Guinea Conakry, it flows through Senegal and the entire length of The Gambia, and expands itself into The Atlantic Ocean through the mouth of The River Gambia.
From her source to the mouth of the River Gambia it is approximately 700km long and within The Gambia is approximately 350km.
The river is known for its diverse fauna and flora, coupled with the economic importance in terms of agriculture and as a means of transportation.
Sightseeing in the Creeks
This is a relaxing full day sightseeing tour into the narrow creeks or tributaries of the River Gambia.
This tour is for nature lovers as it will enable guests to see the various facets of birds in the Gambia. Lunch will be served onboard and there will also be opportunity to do some fishing.

Ginack Island
This is an interesting expedition to an island on the Northern Bank of the majestic River Gambia. We join the ferry from Banjul and embark on a 30 minutes crossing to Barra, a major town on the Northern Bank.
After disembarking from the Ferry, we join our 4x4 transport and proceed to Ginack, passing through the Gambian countryside on the north bank region.
In Ginack, also known as Coconut Island, we shall visit local compounds and local vegetable gardens. To conclude this expedition, you will spend some time along the beach and take a quick dip in the sea or work on you tan, before heading back to Banjul.
